Waiting has never been my strong suit — honestly, it feels like the universe keeps handing me the “please hold” line just for fun. I’m forever sitting here waiting for something: checks to land in my bank, systems to finally clear my account, little updates that take their sweet time like they’re out for a coffee break. It’s like life keeps tossing me into these mini waiting rooms with no magazines and no snacks. And here I am again, tapping my fingers and trying not to scream into the void.
Things like waiting in line for a bus, waiting to get taxes done and need those important documents coming in snail mail. Waiting for test results to find out why you feel the way you do.
Waiting for the government to make meaningful changes to improve daily life, like lowering food and gas prices. Hoping for the war in Iran to end and for cheaters and those in high positions who defraud the people to be held accountable.
These are all very important things in life we wait for. Everyone of us has something some time in life we had to wait for. What is yours?
We wait on apartment manger to do their due diligence for their tenants issues and have them dealt with, whatever the issue is apartment related or tenant to tenant issue’s such as excessive noise which I have talked about in earlier posts in my blog,
The ultimate test of patience is waiting on God to take us to heaven, where waiting will be no more. It’s a place where people will finally come together in peace, and the sheep will lie down with the lamb, just as the Bible describes.
Where we all love together in peace and joy and see our family and friends who have passed on.
When I was young my mother told me a little song that went like this :
Patience is a virtue
Virtue is a grace
Grace is a little girl with a pretty face
This little ditty was fine when we were young and taught the virtue of patience but as we age it is harder to hang on to that patience. What are your demons I would like to hear from you,
